We're looking for volunteers to help clean the kennel during the week in the mornings and afternoons. Contact us and let us know if you like to get your hands dirty!

Products and Services

German Shepherd Rescue is always in need of various items and services, as well as financial donations to help more dogs in crisis. All donations are tax-deductible. Please send or bring donations to:

Here are some of the things that we could really use:

Dog Stuff

Dog toys - we always need some durable dog toys
Flea and tick control products such as Frontline or Defend for Dogs over 55 pounds.
Pet Tabs or dog vitamins
Joint supplements for dogs with Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM
Gift cards from Costco, PetsMart or Petco, or grocery stores (Ralphs, Vons, or other large chain stores in our area)

Choke chains (26" or longer large link)
Dog blankets
Beef knuckle bones
Large bags of uncooked white rice
Dog food (cans or kibble)
Dog treats, cookies, rawhide bones
Chicken or beef (uncooked)
Dog shampoo and grooming supplies

Services

Veterinary services in Los Angeles County
Short-term boarding for dogs just rescued from local shelters
Advertising (Newspapers, Magazines, Television, Internet, Flyers, etc.)

Asphalt work
Electrical wiring repair
Large appliance repair
Fencing repair
Transportation of dogs between locations
Pick-up of dogs rescued from local shelters

Misc

Financial donations to help more dogs in crisis.
Rolls of postage stamps for mailing our newsletters and postcards.

Tractor (any size) in working condition.
Air-tight storage containers for food
