Hope

Hope's been living at the Tehachapi Sanctuary for the past few months where she's been enjoying the fresh mountain air. (She's now about 18 months old) She's been running around like the puppy she is. She has deformed legs caused by malnutrition while a young puppy. (She was born in the New Orleans area shortly after Katrina.)

We're hoping to find a patient home for this bouncy young girl. She needs a lot of love and attention, as well as to learn basic skills like housebreaking. There is also the potential for medical expenses as she gets older.

Nobody's quite sure what to expect out of Hope. We're pretty sure she's not going to become a marathon runner, but she doesn't seem to have realized this yet.
