German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Greta is a sweet and affectionate puppy who was abandoned in a back yard when her owners moved. From what we understand, there as a domestic "dispute" and Greta was not wanted by either of the warring parties. She was left with no food or water. Neighbors discovered Greta in the yard when they heard her whimpering from hunger. Our hearts ache to know that this precious little creature had to endure not only the pain of abandonment, but of near starvation as well.

We tips our hats to the community of neighbors who pitched in to provide food, water and much-needed affection for Greta until she could be transported to German Shepherd Rescue. A special thanks to SG for being this little pup's guardian angel and for shuttling her to safety.

Greta is at our vet's where she will be dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, bathed and protected from fleas. We have promised her that we will find her an extra special family--one that will cherish her and ensure that she will have a magical life filled with love.
