German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

If you want the sweetest, gentlest, happiest, most affectionate dog in the world, you've found him! Meet Buddy, an adorable shepherd/collie mix, approximately 45 pounds. When our volunteer visited a crowded shelter to rescue a shepherd, she noticed a dog sitting quietly at the front of another cage. He would not take his eyes off of her, but he didn't jump and bark and carry on--he just watched her while maintaining a perfect "sit" pose. When the volunteer went over to greet Buddy, he wiggled and wagged with glee. After a few minutes with him, she knew that Buddy would be a "stowaway" on the German Shepherd Rescue bus!

Buddy has a certain maturity that makes him appear older than 8-9 months. He is housebroken and loves the company of other dogs. He idolizes the male dog in his foster home and follows him everywhere. Buddy is a jewel that we feel fortunate to have found!
