Apache

Apache, in the shelter, awaiting rescue.

Meet Apache, a well-built, good-natured, 1 year old AKC male who would love to be loved. Apache was purchased from a breeder when he was just a pup and appears to have been well cared for. He is puppyish, but attentive and very eager to please. Apache is strong and energetic, so he is not the right choice for someone who cannot handle an exhuberant youngster, but he will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to invest time and energy into grooming him into a proper adult. Soon we will introduce him to some of our other canine orphans to see what he thinks of having a buddy to play with.

After his first year with his beloved family, Apache was dumped at a high kill shelter because he did not play well with the small dog in the home. When we found him sitting sadly in a cage, he was clearly confused and scared by the surroundings.

Apache is in boarding. To arrange to meet Apache, please contact johnandebhancock@aol.com and complete the online application to expedite the adoption process. We are asking for a donation of $300.00 for Apache to help offset the high veterinary costs of one of our other dogs, Adonis.
