Spike is a beautiful 12 month old jet black male.  He is good with everyone -- children (as long as they don't mind being knocked over), cats, and other dogs of all sizes.  He loves to have company, and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day.  He is a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly to a friendly face.

Spike's owner lived on a military base and his neighbors complained that Spike was barking because he was left home alone for so many hours during the day.
