German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Little Artemis is shy and sweet and bonds quickly with people who show her kindness. She is approximately 2-3 years old and it's obvious that she has already had several litters of puppies. Artemis is black and cream colored and gets along very nicely with other friendly dogs. Based on what we have seen of her behavior, we suspect that she would like cats as well. Artemis has not had a great deal of exposure to all of Life's wonders, so she is a bit frightened in new situations until she is reassured. Like so many of the dogs that come to rescue, Artemis just needs someone to be loving and patient with her so that her confidence can be built and she can learn the joy of having someone of her own. She is on the smaller side and will probably top out at 55 pounds.
