Tug

Tug is a HUGE and strikingly handsome 3 year old male with a red and black coat.  We named him Tug because he will "tug" at your heart when you meet him!!!  He was rescued from a shelter and whisked away to have a check up and neuter.  He is quite thin -  when he is filled out and healthy, Tug should be well over 90 pounds.  For his size, he walks very nicely on a leash, appears to get along with other dogs, and loves, loves, loves people.

When our volunteer put him in the car and was waiting with him for paperwork, he buried his head in her chest and stood very quietly.  Tug will probably bond quickly and may have separation issues, but we will work on that with him as we get to know him better.  He was quite good in the car and rode very nicely with another rescue from the shelter, so we think he will get along with other large dogs.

Tug is currently in our veterinarian's office being treated for an ear infection, but soon he'll be good as new and ready to start his new life with his forever family!  Could that be you???  If you are interested in meeting him, please click on the button below and fill out our online adoption application.
