When Shadow's owners moved and dumped this long-haired beauty at the shelter, they didn't bother to leave any information on her -- not even her name.  How they could do this to this gorgeous, loving, friendly pure bred German shepherd is beyond us.  When our volunteer saw Shadow leaning against the kennel bars quietly watching to see if her owners would return in the pouring rain, it was more than she could bear.  She whisked off this very wet dog to safety and warmth.  She promised her that we would find her a forever home that would love and cherish her for the wonderful dog she is.  In appreciation, Shadow settled right down in the car and gently put her head on our volunteer's lap.

Shadow is new so we learn more about her very soon.  She is loving, gives kisses and knows how to shake.  Her coat and teeth are in great shape and she is up-to-date on shots, micro-chipped and on flea control.  Shadow is 2 years old and has a beautiful black and tan long-haired coat.  She is a big and beautiful girl who is friendly, loving, and out-going.
