Mace is a handsome 12 month old black and red male.  He is very affectionate and loving, and loves to sit in your lap and cuddle.  He is the type of shepherd who leans up against you, and likes to know that you are nearby.  He gets along with other friendly dogs, but he is too rough for a home with small children.

Mace has a condition with his esophagus which requires that he eat from elevated bowls, and that he gets several small meals during the day rather than one or two large meals.  He hopes that his new family will be willing to help him with this so that he can live a long and happy life.
