Jessica

Jessica's birthday is October 13, 2003 which makes her a little over 4-1/2 months old.  German Shepherd Rescue received a call from the lady that owns Jessica's Father.  She wanted to do the right thing by giving Jessica to us so we could find her a loving home.  Her husband wanted to sell her to a guy whose only interest was to breed her to make money on her puppies.

Thank goodness they did the right thing and now Jessica can't wait to find her forever home.  When Jessica first arrived she just didn't seem like a typical puppy.  We took her to the Vet and discovered she had tape and hook worms and also chicken fleas on her ears.  She also has very large paws and we thought she may have a problem with her front feet.  Within a week, Jessica turned into a bouncy, curious and energetic puppy.  X-rays were taken of her front feet and we discovered she just needs to grow into her huge paws.  We suspect she will be a big girl when she grows up.

She is thriving in her foster home and gets along great with other dogs.  She also loves water and loves to play in it.  She is still getting the hang of potty training and sleeps in a crate at night.

Jessica is in a foster home.  If you would like to meet her, please click on the button below and fill out our online adoption application, or email johnandebhancock@aol.com for more information
