Chase just makes us laugh! This dog is so outgoing and has so much personality that she can't contain it in her furry little body. Her favorite game is to walk up and down the kennel aisle and shake her purple ball in the faces of all the other dogs. You can just hear her say, "I've got a ball and you don't!" She'll also act all "fierce" with her ball to stake her claim on it and then sit there like she is laughing. She has been known to drop her ball in her water barrel and then go dunking for it.

Chase has had a TOUGH life. She lived in a small, concrete side-yard for years. Her owners never paid her any attention and would dump food in the yard along with old furniture and trash. Chase would "talk" to the neighbor who immediately fell in love with her and begged her family to give her up. They refused but after many years of requests finally "got rid of her." Even though the neighbor offered to take her to us - the owners took her to the animal shelter to be put down out of spite. Chase's guardian angel worked overtime when she realized what they did. She found her and then contacted us so that we could rescue her.

Chase likes to take short walks, she isn't very athletic. She would really rather snuggle up on a large pillow at your feet and keep you company. She would chase cats and really does not want to be bothered by other dogs. She wants her people all to herself. After being so neglected - she deserves it!
