Hi!  My name is Sophia, but my friends call me Sofie.  I was born on October 1, 2002 and have been told I'm AKC,  whatever that means.  All I know is that I'm absolutely adorable and I want to find my forever home.

A very nice lady rescued me from a home that did not treat me very well.  I'm a little shy around strangers.  I need a home where I will get lots of socialization so I can build my trust in people.   

Even though I had a rough start, I'm very smart and already know how to use a doggie door.  I'm also crate trained and know how to sit for a cookie.  I love other dogs and enjoy being part of a loving family. 

Because I'm a little afraid of strangers right now, I would prefer a more quiet home with older children because I want to be the baby of the house.  I promise I will blossom into the perfect dog with a little TLC.
