Peyton
is a beautiful classic 2 year old male German Shepherd. His
striking good looks got him a lot of attention at his first
adoption event. He is a very big boy already, weighing 98
pounds. He is a very happy, bouncy, energetic teenager who is
very gentle, but can be very strong at times. He has had some
obedience training - he knows how to sit, shake, lay down, fetch
and can heel on a leash, but he needs work in this area. He is
still very puppy-like and will probably be slow to mature. He
loves to play ball and ride in the car. He is good with children
and other dogs. Due to his size, he might knock over
toddlers inadvertently, so he would do best in a home with
children 5 and up. He has a wonderful disposition and is a very
happy friendly big boy.
Peyton was picked up as a stray and his owners never came to find him. He had a collar on, but no tags. It is hard to believe no one would come looking for this beautiful big guy. Since he was found running loose once, a secure yard is a must for this boy this time around. Peyton has had all his vaccinations and is micro-chipped. Payton is in boarding.
