Lugar II
|
|
|
Meet the magnificent Lugar,
described by one of our volunteers as "the handsomest shepherd I
have ever seen." Lugar is a big, bold black and red male,
approximately 2-3 years young. He is impressive and strong
but a real love bug once you win his heart. Lugar is not a
dog for an inexperienced owner, or for a home with a lot of
comings and goings as he can become overprotective of "his"
people. We would like to place him with a single person or a
couple who have owned shepherds before. He is approximately
65 pounds and may fill out to be around 75.
Lugar was rescued from a crowded animal shelter when his owners failed to reclaim him after allowing him to roam free without a collar or tags. This is a fantastic dog for someone who understands the complex (and sometimes comical) nature of shepherds. Lugar II is currently in a boarding kennel.
