Gigi's owners brought her to the rescue to see if we would take her in.  They were moving, and could not take Gigi to their new home.  If we couldn't take her on-the-spot, their next stop was the local animal shelter.  Because Gigi is an older girl, she didn't stand a chance of being adopted there -- we were her last hope.  The rescue kennel was already full, and our owner turn-in waiting list is long, but we didn't have the heart to turn Gigi away.

Gigi is around 5-7 years old, and her eyes look cloudy because she has not received medical attention.  We are bringing her to a vet to see if she needs some eye drops.  She is extremely sweet and gentle, and just wants to be loved.  She is housebroken, and is good with children.  She gets along well with other dogs, and would fit in well with an easy-going family.  Gigi would love to rest at your feet and keep you company.
