Bruno

Bruno is a dashing fellow!  At age 18 months, he has classic good looks, black and tan markings and a happy personality.  Bruno and his littermate, Lady, ended up at an animal shelter when they were found running stray.  Surprisingly, they WERE wearing ID tags, however their owner was contacted and did not wish to reclaim them!!!

We can only speculate about why Bruno and Lady's owners did not reclaim them -- perhaps two young "teenage" shepherds were just too much for them to handle.  Young shepherds are ACTIVE dogs that require exercise, supervision, training and leadership.  They thrive on praise for their good behavior and learn quickly when they understand what is expected of them.  Their new home should have a secure yard with at least a 6 foot fence.

Bruno and Lady are available for adoption either separately or as a pair.  They are currently in a boarding kennel.  If you are interested in meeting either of them, please click on the button below and fill out our online adoption application.

NOTE: We have another dog named 'Bruno' at the rescue, so please be sure to specify which one you are interested in meeting.
