Anthony 'Tony' Soprano

Anthony Soprano ("Tony" to his friends) is a large-boned black and tan male, approximately 5-6 years old.  He is a gentle giant who, despite not having had a very good life, exudes an air of nobility.  He should probably weigh in around 100 pounds or more, but currently needs to gain some weight.  Anthony is a very vocal boy!  He loves to bark a greeting to every dog that passes, which tends to frighten some of them, even though he means no harm.  He is very good with other dogs that are not intimidated by his size and big bark, but prefers the lady dogs.  During his ride from the shelter to the rescue, he kept putting his enormous paw on our volunteer to make sure that she was still there and not going to leave him.

Anthony has just arrived, so we are getting to know him better.  He appears to get along well with other non-aggressive dogs because he was in a cage with two MALE Rottweilers at the animal shelter where we spotted him.

Anthony was rescued from a very crowded animal shelter on his last day.  He had been picked up as a stray and his owner never reclaimed him.

Tony is currently in boarding.  If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out an application by clicking on the button below, or call (714) 773-5915 and ask about Anthony.
