Mason

Mason is a total clown!  At age 3, he is a happy go lucky dog that likes to play with other dogs his own size.  He is small for a male -- weighing around 55 pounds -- and he might have a little "something else" in the woodpile of his lineage.  Mason has a very, very expressive face and seems to hang on your every word.  He is always smiling and ready for a good tummy scratch.

Mason has the nickname of "Teflon" because when we got him, we discovered that he had been SHOT with a 22 caliber bullet!  Our vet extracted if from his shoulder and thankfully it did not penetrate a bone.  He is virtually mended now, with just a small bald spot on his fur as his "badge of courage".  We believe that the shooting was accidental because it was obviously not from a close range, but we can't imagine the pain this poor boy was in before he came to us!

If you want fun loving, great with kids, good with big dogs and comical, Mason is your boy!  He was rescued from a very crowded animal shelter when his time "ran out", meaning that he was about to be destroyed.  Thanks to the donations of our wonderful supporters, we were able to rescue him.

Mason is in boarding.  If you wish to meet him, please click on the button below and fill out our online adoption application.
