Kona is a sweet dark black and tan 3 year old female.  She is on the petite side, weighing around 70 pounds.  She is very lovable, but can be a little shy around strangers.  She would do best in a home where there are no small children.  She has obedience training, and responds quickly to "sit", "stay" and "down".  She is a pleasure to take on a walk.

Kona lived with other dogs and with cats, but it will probably take her a little while to adjust.  She is housebroken and is also happy to sleep in a crate.  Kona loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs.  She is somewhat protective of her family.

Kona was turned in by her owners to a local animal shelter.
