Bentley is a sweet 3 year old black and tan german shepherd.  If you like Teddy Bears, he's your guy!

Bentley is a tall boy who loves to chase balls and come back for a back scratching when he's done.  If you get the right spot, he will start thumping his back paw like "Thumper" the rabbit.  He is very gentle and loving, and gets along fine with other females and select males, once he is introduced properly.  He runs to the gate to greet the neighbor's dogs when they come up to visit, and also any people who drive up.

It's almost like he is looking for his previous owners when he does this, though his other family did not come to get him from the shelter and he had to be rescued on his last day.  In his current foster home he plays chase with his current girl friend and when he tires out, they lie on the grass next to each other until his lady-friend decides its time for more play and nudges him a few times to get him going.  It's a real joy to watch them cavort around the yard, especially since Bentley is such a happy boy who always seems to have a smile on his face.  He is such a goof ball!  He loves to ride in the back seat of the car where he sits quietly and watches the scenery.  Bentley also loves kids and would love to be your teddy bear!
